Human Rights Network for Journalists-Uganda is slated to present awards of excellence to two (Male and Female) media rights reporters for the year 2015, a media house which has given more coverage to media rights issues. Other five journalists will be recognised for their exceptional reporting on the subject matter. This inaugural event will take place tomorrow Tuesday 3rd/May/2016, at Golf Course Hotel Kampala from where a Media Dialogue spearheaded by The African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) will take place. The day’s celebrations will be opened with a procession by journalists, at 8am, at the Chogm Square at Parliament, by Uganda Journalists Association (UJA). Lets all join in day’s celebrations of our very important day (World Press Freedom Day 2016).
